Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Auracle Technologies LLC ("Auracle", "we", "us") is a global engineering company with team members and clients across the Americas, Europe & Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information through our website and business operations.

1. Scope

This policy covers personal information we handle as a controller — for example, when you contact us through this website, subscribe to our newsletter, or apply for a role. It does not cover data we process on behalf of clients under a signed services agreement; in those cases we act as a processor under the terms of that agreement.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details you submit: name, work email, company, service interest, budget range, and project details from the contact form.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: your email address.
  • Job applications: your name, email, CV/resume, and anything you choose to include when emailing careers@auracle.tech.
  • Technical logs: IP address, user agent, and request timestamps, collected briefly for rate limiting, security, and abuse prevention.

3. How we use information

  • Responding to inquiries and preparing proposals or discovery calls.
  • Sending the newsletter you subscribed to (every message includes an unsubscribe option).
  • Evaluating applications and communicating about open roles.
  • Protecting our website and infrastructure against misuse, spam, and attacks.
  • Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our agreements.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal information on these bases: consent (newsletter, optional form fields), legitimate interests (responding to business inquiries, securing our systems, recruitment), and compliance with legal obligations where required.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website currently runs no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, and no third-party analytics scripts. We use only essential storage required for the site to function. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice and choices before doing so.

6. AI and automated processing

We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effect on website visitors. Where our client engagements involve AI agents, the processing of personal data within those systems is defined by contract with each client and governed by applicable law.

7. Sharing and disclosure

We never sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate — for example, email delivery and hosting providers — bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting, insurance) under duties of confidentiality.
  • Authorities where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

8. International data transfers

As a distributed company operating across three regions, information may be processed by team members and providers in the United States, European Union, United Kingdom, and Asia-Pacific. When we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, and we align handling practices with GDPR principles globally.

9. Retention

  • Project inquiries: up to 24 months, unless an engagement follows.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
  • Job applications: up to 12 months, or longer if you ask us to keep them on file.
  • Security logs: up to 90 days.

10. Security

We protect information in transit with TLS encryption, restrict access to personnel who need it to do their jobs, and maintain SOC 2-aligned operational controls including least-privilege access, logging, and incident response procedures. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to reduce risk.

11. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction — including rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other local laws — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email privacy@auracle.tech. We respond within 30 days and never discriminate for exercising your rights.

12. Children

Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected by a new 'last updated' date above, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
